About Me

I have always known I wanted to tell stories for a living. When I was just six years old, I started storytelling through musical theater and acting, fostering my love for words and the connection that can be made through them, which spurred my interest in pursuing Journalism. In my time at The Lantern, the independent student voice of Ohio State University, I have served in several roles, including reporter, assistant and head campus editor, gaining hands on experience with AP Style, breaking news and mentoring reporters. At CityScene Media Group and Cincinnati Magazine, I entered into the world of feature writing for print, extensive fact checking, as well as write-ups on food and restaurants, a field I fell particularly in love with. There is truly nothing that makes me happier than putting pen to paper to inform and impact my community for the better, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to do what I love each and every day.
